The app's main function is to verify whether a product is genuine or not by scanning the verification label on the product. CheckVN also displays the verification history and provides guidance on the verification process. Additionally, it connects to the official portal of verified products to protect the branding of Vietnamese products.

When verifying a product, CheckVN displays information that the manufacturer has committed to through the first layer of authentication. After the user removes the first layer, CheckVN continues to support the user in tracking the origin of the product and providing instant feedback on whether the product is genuine or not. The app notifies users if the product is not under the protection of the IDE, has been sold, or is genuine and protected by the IDE.
